Hello Everyone! For the past two years I have been using more natural products on my body and face. I have been trying to make my own products instead of buying natural skincare that has been sitting on a shelf. This is just my preference. This is not to downplay what you are doing that is working for you and your family. Some people actually get great results from over the counter products and that is wonderful. If I could get consistent result from using shelf products, hey I would use them too. The bigger challenge for me NOW is finding the right skincare for my two little ladies. My two Tweens are starting to have breakouts in their T-Zone areas. One of my little ladies drink plenty of water, but tends to put her hands in her face a lot. My other little lady don’t drink enough water, but has less breakouts and don’t touch her face often. Finding the medium between these two young ladies, and a skincare product that is right for each of them has been a task. I’m not going stress myself out about it, and I don’t want you to either if you have tweens. I do think if I teach my children to begin early with caring for their skin, they will less likely have to battle with adult acne. Now I don’t know how much of my thinking is scientifically true, but it’s worth trying:). If you are on the parenting path as I am, what/how are you handling skincare and breakouts with your teens? I would love for you to share what you are doing. We are so stronger together. There is no better feeling as a parent when another parent share how they have hurdled over the very obstacle that you are faced with. Please share your thoughts/comment below.
