Hello Everyone! I know there are times when as parents we are between places on this topic. When we start to notice a change in our children’s body odor, but they are still a little young to consider using deodorant. How do you handle this? When My husband and I noticed a change in our Tweens body odor we knew it was time to implement the “Old School” underarm remedy from our country. We started using the juice from lemons, and let them apply it under their armpits in the morning. This did not keep them from sweating, but it sure did kill the funky odor. A year later we noticed that they had to start applying it more than once a day, which became a little bit much for our kids. They would have to take time out of their day to wash their underarm and put on more lemon juice. Now what child do you know that is going to keep freshening up multiple times a day? I really didn’t want my children to use deodorant, because of my own breakout experiences and blocked lymph nodes under my armpits. Another reason is over time using anti-perspirant deodorant can effect your internal health. With that, I decided to try making my own deodorant using all natural ingredients. To my surprise this deodorant has been working. It doesn’t keep us from sweating, but it does kill the bacteria which causes the odor. To top it off, it only needs to be applied one time a day, Yay! We are so excited to come across something that is working for us all, not just my Tweens:). Finding a solution has taken some weight off for me as a parent, and some of the self esteem tension that my children were dealing with. So how are you handling your child/children and hygiene?, please share. If you are interested in trying this homemade deodorant that only take minutes to make, but last weeks click on my YouTube channel (Janelle Stuart); video will be titled Hygiene. Please remember to subscribe and share. Thanks 🙂

Hi! Thanks for sharing your advice with me. My understanding was that photos on Pexel is free to use. I have used photos from Pexel in the past for my website and this is the first time I’m hearing I need to have Artist permission. Is the Artist Aaren Regis Sela? Is it best to just remove the photo from my site? Any suggestions welcome.
