Is My Child “Bored” or not being “Challenged” enough?
Sometimes we experience as parents, our children not staying attentive to a particular activity for long periods of time. We may not want it to be long period of time, but long enough for us to get something done. We often view this as “Bored”. This may not really be the case with our children. Did we ever think that our children need to be challenged a little more? The activity and the environment we provide for our children sometimes is not set up to challenge our children, so we do experience shorter attention span to certain tasks or projects. How do we “Challenge” our children? We need to create an environment and activities that is little above where our child is developmentally. Please comment below or email me directly, if you want specifics on how to challenge (your) child developmentally. Parents! if your also experiencing this in your child/children school life, then you should also question; is my child bored or not being challenged enough?
