Trust The Process:  As parents, often times we don’t trust the process of investing in our children. Why? We want to see outcomes instantly. What I’m discovering in the process myself is that having an “instant” mentality don’t coincide with parenting. Have you ever read ‘The Carrot Seed’, by Ruth Krauss? now might be an excellent time. In the book the little boy plants a seed, he believe in his heart that something will come up. His family was looking for instant results. I don’t want to tell the whole story, you have to read it. Try to exercise Faith and Patient as it pertains to our children. We may not see results until they are older, but trust the process. Continue to make the efforts that you make to be there for your children. The beauty of it all is we will also grow as parents in the process.
